GIORNATA COMMEMORATIVA PER I 150 ANNI DELLA TAVOLA PERIODICA DEGLI ELEMENTI
The Institute of Crystallography, section of Monterotondo, is organizing a commemorative day for the 150th anniversary of the Periodic Table, a year in which the 100th anniversary of the famous chemist and writer Primo Levi was born.
The event is scheduled for 11 November 2019 at the conference room of the CNR Research Area of Rome 1-Montelibretti. It will be dedicated to an audience of high school students in the area north of Rome.
The day will be organized in collaboration with the chemistry museum of the Department of Chemistry of the University “La Sapienza” of Rome which will make available some didactic equipment for the laboratory experiences.
These experiences will be organized in such a way that groups of students will be accompanied to a corner to perform some experiments that demonstrate the properties of the chemical elements.
